Owning on a Murcia golf resort gets you the lifestyle on your doorstep and golf at owner rates. GNK Golf's 2026 Platinum membership costs a couple €3,057 a year against €3,807 for non-owners, a €750 saving, and members then play for €11 a day against public rates of €75 to €119.

Golf membership in Spain works as a separate annual subscription, which is good news: you choose the level that suits how often you play, and as an owner you pay the lowest rate on offer. Here are the numbers, and what else ownership brings.

What do you get from owning on a golf resort?

Before the rate cards, the part that matters most day to day:

• Fairway views and space. Green, landscaped surroundings, with the course as your outlook.
• A ready-made social life. Clubhouse, restaurants, padel and pools, with neighbours who share your interests.
• Security and easy lock-up. Gated resorts with managed communal areas, practical if you split your time between Spain and home.
• Owner rates on golf. The lowest membership tier, reserved for owners and long-term tenants.
• Golf in its best season. October to May is golf high season in Murcia, with cool, sunny days, which is when most owners are here.

If you play a few times a week, the twelve-month owner membership is the obvious choice. If you are here for the winter only, a three or six-month term fits neatly around your stay.

How much is golf membership for owners in 2026?

GNK Golf publishes its rates, IVA included, for three courses: La Torre, El Valle and Hacienda Riquelme. Platinum is for property owners and tenants on contracts of twelve months or more. Gold is for everyone else.

Three-month prices vary with the start month, so a winter-only owner can pick a short membership for the months they are here.

• Green fees at €11 a day
• A buggy at €41 for eighteen holes
• A free manual trolley on twelve-month memberships
• 10% off in the pro shop

What is the owner discount worth over time?

A couple saves €750 a year on a twelve-month membership, and the gap holds proportionally on the shorter terms. Over ten years at today's rates, that is €7,500 of golf.

It's a nice bonus in its own right. If you are comparing a resort home with something nearby off-resort, it is worth adding to the sums.

What does golf cost without a membership?

For lighter players, there's a flexible option. A GNK Resident Card costs €69 a year and gives you resident green fees:

Public rates run €75 to €119 for eighteen holes in high season.

Is a membership worth it, or should I pay as I play?

It comes down to how often you'll be on the course.

• Regular golfers: a couple's Platinum membership pays for itself at roughly 50 rounds a year between you against public high-season rates, or around 60 against resident-card rates. That's about a round a fortnight each, and many owners play far more.
• Occasional golfers: the €69 Resident Card and pay-as-you-play is the simple choice.
• Seasonal owners: a three or six-month Platinum membership covers your stay at owner rates.

Which courses does a GNK membership cover?

A GNK membership covers three courses: La Torre, El Valle and Hacienda Riquelme.

Other courses in the region are run separately. UGOLF Iberia runs Mar Menor, Saurines de la Torre and Hacienda del Álamo. Alhama Signature at Condado de Alhama is separately owned (it left the GNK group in January 2023, so older sites listing it are out of date). Alhama Signature and Mar Menor set their own membership terms, so check with each club for current rates.

What's new for golf on the MedSol resorts?

2026-27 is an exciting time for golf in the region.

• Corvera Hills: the Corvera Golf & Country Club course is due to reopen in Q4 2026, putting a par-72 layout back at the heart of the resort.
• Condado de Alhama: in June 2025 the owner announced a €15m plan to reopen the Jack Nicklaus Signature course and build a five-star hotel, phased through 2026 and 2027.

Buying now means being part of both resorts as their golf comes back into play.

What if one of us doesn't play golf?

Most couples have one keen golfer and one who'd rather do something else, and resort life is built for both.

Padel is the big one: inexpensive, sociable and much easier to pick up than tennis. La Torre's two padel and two tennis courts are free to owners, tenants and guests, with floodlights at €1 an hour. Condado has six floodlit padel courts and Mar Menor has seven. Add pools, gyms, spa days and the beaches, and the non-golfer is rarely short of plans.

What does the community fee cover?

Your comunidad fee covers the residential side: pools, gardens, communal areas and security. On most Murcia resorts the golf course is run as a separate business, so your fee goes on the things you use every day, and golf is something you choose to add at owner rates.
