Yes. Región de Murcia (Corvera) airport served 11 destinations through winter 2025–26, with year-round flights from London Gatwick, Luton, Bristol, Stansted, Birmingham, Manchester and Dublin. Nine summer routes drop out from late October. There are no scheduled Dutch or Scandinavian flights in any season — those buyers fly into Alicante.

This is the question people ask second, after the price. And it deserves a straight answer, because the honest version is better than the vague one.

Murcia's airport is small. It is also growing fast, and its winter timetable is a good deal better than most people assume.

Which Routes Run All Year?

Eleven destinations ran right through winter 2025–26. Seven of them are UK or Irish.

Note the frequency column. Four times a week is not daily. If you need to be somewhere on a Tuesday, check before you assume.

Madrid was dropped when the regional subsidy behind it expired, which is worth knowing if you were planning to connect through it.

Which Routes Disappear In Winter?

Nine. Summer 2026 runs 20 destinations; winter runs 11.

The ones that go: East Midlands, Bournemouth, Glasgow, Oviedo, Bilbao, Ostend–Bruges, Lille, Marseille and Venice.

If you fly from East Midlands or Bournemouth, your winter options are a longer drive to a bigger airport, or Alicante. There's no way around that, and I'd rather say so now than have you discover it in November.

What If You're Flying From The Netherlands, Belgium Or Scandinavia?

Then you're flying into Alicante, and you should plan on it.

Corvera has no scheduled Dutch route and no scheduled Scandinavian route in any season. The only Benelux service is a seasonal TUI fly charter to Ostend. Alicante, by contrast, had over 545,000 Dutch seats and 495,000 Belgian seats in winter 2025–26 alone.

That's roughly 70 to 90 minutes' drive from most of the resorts instead of 20 to 35. It's a real difference and it compounds across a year of visits. It is not, in my experience, a dealbreaker — but you should price the transfers in before you buy, not after.

Is Corvera Actually Growing, Or Is It Stuck?

Growing, and faster than the headlines suggest.

The airport carried 947,438 passengers in 2025. The first half of 2026 was up 10.7% year on year, with international traffic up 9.4% and domestic up 18.8%. February was up nearly 25% on the year before; March was up around 50%. It's forecast to pass a million passengers for only the second time in its history.

Winter 2025–26 was itself a record — 11 destinations, three more than the previous winter. Ryanair has now carried three million cumulative passengers through Corvera and added Venice and Lille for 2026.

So the direction of travel is clear. Just don't expect Alicante's network any time soon.

The Honest Things To Check Before You Book A Viewing Trip

• Check the day of the week. The four-times-weekly Ryanair routes cluster; a Tuesday–Thursday trip may not be possible from your airport in January.
• Book the return before the outbound. Winter frequencies mean the return leg is the constraint, not the flight out.
• Price the Alicante alternative properly. A transfer from Corvera runs from around €64; from Alicante, from around €164. Over six visits a year that difference is real money.
• Don't rely on a route existing next winter. Corvera's network has grown every year recently, but Madrid vanished when its subsidy ended. Routes are commercial decisions, not fixtures.
• If you're viewing in winter, that's a feature. You'll see the resort at its quietest, which is exactly what you want to see before you commit.
